Shelf Readers – Adopt-a-Library Room
Monitor a section of the library that most interests you and keep books on shelves in order and attractive for patrons.
Book Nook Associate
Assist with organizing donated books and other products sold in our Book Nook. Coordinate special sales on the front porch and in the community. Recommend new books for patrons.
Greeters and Group Facilitators
Welcome visitors to the library and provide direction to library and community resources. Arrive prior to public events, such as story times, to help prepare the space and to greet participants.
Game Night Hosts
Lead and offer guidance to others wishing to play Chess, Scrabble, Lego, and other games. After school and weekend shifts available for teens and adults.
Help promote all the library has to offer by distributing and posting publicity materials to area locations. Set up and greet the public at fairs, festivals, and farmers markets, etc. Participate in Library card sign up and other promotions. Help us connect with your community groups.
Children’s Room Associate
Assist with a variety of projects such as keeping books in order, making crafts, leading activities, helping with events, monitoring gaming, and assisting with homework problems.
Help library patrons using public computers and printers. Basic knowledge of PCs, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet Explorer is necessary.
