Event Details

Summer Reading kicks off with an exciting performance and energetic African drumming circle led by the talented musician, Kazi Oliver from 11am – Noon. Everyone gets a chance to drum. Feel the beat and connect with others!

Kazi Oliver has been teaching and performing professionally for over 40 years in places such as the famed jazz venue, the Village Vanguard, the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, and on ABC-TV's "The View". As a djembe player he equally enjoys bringing together multi-generational and multicultural audiences to experience and enjoy the awesome power of the African drum.
