Do you want to give back and make your community a better place? Volunteers help our small staff to deliver quality programs and services while meeting new friends.

Teen Volunteers

Teens looking for opportunities to offer community service are invited to apply for our Teen Team Leadership Program.

Volunteer Opportunities

Shelf Readers 

Monitor the section of the library that most interests you and keep books on shelves in order and attractive for patrons.

Library Shop Associate 

Assist with organizing donated books and other products sold in our BookMarket. Coordinate special sales and during Library events.

Library Ambassadors 

Help promote library programs and services by distributing and posting publicity materials and sharing information on social media. Set up and greet the public at fairs, festivals, and farmers markets. Help us connect us with your community groups.

Events Associate 

Assist with events such as creative craft workshops, special programs for children or adults, and outreach. Help to spread the word on social media. Lead informal family game such as Chess, Scrabble, Lego, and more.

Tech Help 

Help staff on Tech Tuesday or at technology workshops. Work with library patrons using public computers and printers.
