Event Details

Tweens get together and delve into stories, from realistic fiction to graphic novels. We express our opinions through conversation, writing, drawing, and other creative activities. 

This month, read and be ready to discuss the The Chicken Doesn't Skate by Gordon Korman. 

Milo’s science fair experiment spirals out of control when his carefully charted baby chick becomes a beloved class pet, good-luck charm, and even a hockey team mascot. This funny, thoughtful story explores friendship, ethics, and standing up for what matters when science and feelings collide.
