Event Details

Tweens get together and delve into stories, from realistic fiction to graphic novels. We express our opinions through conversation, writing, drawing, and other creative activities. 

This month, read and be ready to discuss the Save Me A Seat by Sarah Weeks and Gita Varadarajan. 

Joe, who struggles with a learning disability, and Ravi, a recent immigrant from India, both feel like outsiders at school. Told in alternating perspectives, their story explores friendship, bullying, and finding the courage to stand up for yourself.

 

Books are available for pick-up at the Main Desk.
