For Adults and Seniors, join us once a month at the Bedford Hills Community House to discuss popular fiction novels.

News of the World by Paulette Jiles is a post-Civil War novel about Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd, an aging war veteran who travels Texas reading newspapers aloud. He’s tasked with returning Johanna, a 10-year-old girl raised by the Kiowa, to her distant relatives. As they journey through dangerous territory, the two form an unexpected bond that challenges their notions of family and belonging.
